There is a simple way in Microsoft Office to make more room for content that doesn’t fit into the standard window. Hide the ribbon.
Under any of the tabs, click on the up arrow sign on the far right hand side of the ribbon. The ribbon will disappear to only show the tab titles.
Restore the ribbon by clicking on the title of one of the tabs, and then click the pin where the arrow was.

Expanding your browser

All of the major browsers also have full screen mode. Just hit F11.
