Are you new to Excel? An understanding of Excel is a requirement of nearly all professionals in today’s working world. This class is designed for students who need Excel training for beginners. This course will teach you how to get started on the right foot with essential skills for using Excel spreadsheets. You will learn how navigate within Excel, easily enter information into spreadsheets, learn tricks to best view and manipulate and format data, and you will even learn how to create simple formulas. With basic Excel training, you will learn how to work with pre-created spreadsheets, as well as create your own simple spreadsheets from scratch. Our instructors will be on hand to answer your questions and lead you to a thorough understanding of the application on a beginner’s level.

Training Class Goal

In this Basic Excel training course, students who complete the class will exit with a basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and have the confidence to build simple worksheets that use the basic functionality of the program. You will understand how Excel works and how to use it, giving you the foundation from which to grow.

Prerequisites

Students entering this class should possess general knowledge of the use of a computer, including the ability to use a mouse (click, double-click, right-click, click-and-drag), and the ability to type on a keyboard.
